Can I take a tour?

How many guests can WPEC accommodate?

Occupancy varies by room/area:

  • The Bar Room can accommodate up to 70 seated guests. (85 with barstools)

  • The Grand Room can accommodate up to 180 to 207 tabled guests (8-9 per table) comfortably.

  • The Patio can accommodate up to 300 guests.

  • The Lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests.


Do you have tables and chairs?

We do!  Here’s what we have on hand:

  • 21 - 72” white round tables

  • 9 - 60” white round tables

  • 15 - 8’ white rectangular tables

    • 4 - 6’ white rectangular tables

  • 504 white resin padded chairs

  • Bar Area

  • 10 cocktail/bar height tables

  • 3 - 7 person seated tables & 3 - 5 person seated tables

  • 20 bar seats


Do you set up and take down tables and chairs?

We will set up tables and chairs for you. You may move them to accomdate your exact needs. Outdoor events are dependant on weather forcasts, wetness of grounds, etc.


Do you provide audiovisual?

We do! Here’s what we have on hand:

  • Sound System throughout individual rooms/venue

  • Universal connection to event center audio

  • Two wireless microphones

  • Two 75” flat screen TV’s w/ mobile stands & laptop hookup


Do you provide table linens?

We are happy to provide table linens for rent at $10 each in a variety of colors


Can I use my own caterer or other vendors?

We have an open vendor policy including caterers.  All caterers must be approved by WPEC.


Can we bring in our own food or potluck?

Yes. Food brought in from a source other than a licensed and insured caterer is allowed as well. Please note WPEC does not provide beverage dispensers, cups/glasses, plates, napkins, flatware or wait staff


Can we use the kitchen?

One is allowed to bring your own food into the venue as well as use of the kitchen for preparing, staging and serving food.

*If a party wishes to use kitchen cooking equipment permission must be granted ahead of event date


What is your alcohol policy?

  • Alcohol may be dispensed in the following ways:WPEC provides the alcohol for your event. You may purchase tickets to give your guests this way as well

  • You may provide your own alcohol with ONLY WPEC Staff serving the alcohol.

  • A serving fee IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • 1-100 GUESTS = $150

  • 101-200 GUESTS = $250

  • 201+ = $300

*NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL MAY BE BROUGHT IN WITHOUT WPEC PERMISSION. ANY PERSON CAUGHT WITH OUTSIDE ALCOHOL WILL BE REMOVED FROM WPEC BY LAW ENFORCEMENT


Does Wild Prairie Event Center allow candles?

We do! As long as the candles are housed in a container that is taller than the candles to catch the wax and to ensure flames are not exposed.


Is there room for both wedding parties to get ready in?

We have a private Bridal & Groom Suites.

The Bridle Suite Contains

  • 2 - Large comfortable chairs

  • Leather sofa

  • Gathering table w/ chairs

  • Four makeup stations w/chairs

  • Full length mirrors

  • Dress hooks.

  • Mini Fridge

    The Groom Suite contains:

  • Leather Sofa

  • 2 Large comfortable chairs

  • Gathering/Poker Table w/ chairs

  • Full length mirror

  • Flat screen TV

  • Dry Bar & Mini Fridge


Does WPEC have various wedding/ceremony décor which can be utilized?

We are currently constructing and adding to our catalog of useful décor items at the center. Please check with us for items and availability.


Can we come early to decorate or make deliveries or drop off our event items?

Access to the venue begins and ends at the stated time on your rental agreement.   We offer daily and hourly rental access, and we are happy to work with you to create a rental package that includes the time you need for deliveries, rehearsal, decorating, clean up and more.


How do I book my event?

Give us a call or send us an email.  We will be happy to give you a tour and talk about your needs.  To make a reservation you will need to complete a rental agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit to hold your date.   


Is the event center accessible to persons with disabilities?

The event center is ADA approved!


How many parking spots are available?

There are approximately 190 parking spots available with more on street parking as well.
